St. Paul the Hermit Church in Madulsima Parish hosted a seminar specifically for parents. Organized by Rev. Fr. Mariyadas, the parish priest, the seminar was led by Rev. Fr. Frank, who provided important educational insights.

A successful seminar was recently conducted at St. Paul the Hermit Church, Madulsima Parish, organized by Rev. Fr. Mariyathas. The event catered to Sunday School children by age category, the YCS and Youth Association, and Sunday School teachers for a day of spiritual enrichment and education.

A sacred and joyous occasion took place at the Poor Clares Convent in Bandarawela, where Rev. Sr. Collete Marie took her solemn vows as a Poor Clare Sister.

The annual Feast of Our Lady of Mahaweli Shrine in Lathpandura was celebrated with deep spiritual fervor, drawing hundreds of devotees from across the country. The event began with an inter-religious gathering, where religious leaders and local authorities, including a police officer, shared their reflections on the significance of the feast. The shrine, renowned for its miraculous interventions in gift of childbirth and employment opportunities has long been a source of hope for those in need.

On 11th August 2024, St. Anthony's Church in Ulhitiya, Mahiyanganaya, celebrated the 40th Annual Feast of the Diocesan Calvary Shrine. This milestone event brought together devotees from across the country, all united in faith and community spirit. Many participants camped out for the novenas and the feast, making the occasion truly special.

The Diocesan Minor Seminary of St. Eymard's, Harwardon, recently celebrated their patron saint with great reverence and joy. The feast mass was attended by parents of the seminarians, Rev. Sisters, and Rev. Fathers, with His Lordship Rt. Rev. Dr. Jude N. Silva, Bishop of Badulla, presiding over the ceremony.

In a heartwarming ceremony, Rev. Fr. Dilex Shantha Fernando was installed as the new Director of Central Hospital Badulla. The event was marked by a Concelebrated Holy Mass at the Hospital Chapel, presided over by Chairman Rt. Rev. Dr. Jude N. Silva.
