On the second day of his pastoral journey, His Excellency, Most Rev. Dr. Brian Udaigwe, Apostolic Nuncio, was warmly welcomed at Monaragala Parish by the parishioners and Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Marlon Anthony.
The visit began with a special gathering where His Excellency met with the Deanery Fathers and Rev. Sisters, accompanied by Rt. Rev. Dr. Jude N. Silva, Bishop of Badulla. A fruitful meeting was held, filled with fraternal spirit, unity, and shared reflections on the life and mission of the Church.
Following the meeting, His Excellency celebrated Holy Mass together with the Bishop, priests, religious, and the faithful of the parish, strengthening the bond of communion and faith within the community.
He also took time to personally meet and bless the parishioners, sharing his joy and encouragement with them.
