α΄€ΚŸΚ™α΄œα΄ 02: The Annual Lenten Pilgrimage of the Diocese of Badulla took place on March 29, 2025, at the Diocesan Calvary Shrine in Ulhitiya, Mahiyanganaya, under the leadership of our chief shepherd, His Lordship Rt. Rev. Dr. Jude N. Silva, Bishop of Badulla. Thousands of devotees from all parishes, including priests and religious members of the diocese, gathered to participate in the pilgrimage. The event included the Way of the Cross, Holy Mass, and the Sacrament of Confession. This year’s pilgrimage was particularly special due to the Holy Door at the site, marking the Jubilee year. It was a day of blessings as the diocese came together as one family in faith to reflect on our Lord's passion, death and salvation for mankind.
