As the pastoral journey of His Excellency, Most Rev. Dr. Brian Udaigwe, Apostolic Nuncio, continued into the heart of the Dioceseโs rural communities, he made a special visit to the Gonamutawa Sub-Parish, which belongs to the Nayabedda Parish, under the pastoral care of Rev. Fr. Patrick.
This humble and faith-filled community welcomed His Excellency with deep love and gratitude, marking the significance of the visit with prayer and joyful hearts.
During his time here, the Nuncio blessed the foundation stone for the upcoming Stations of the Cross, which will become a spiritual path for the faithful of the area.
He also signed a commemorative plaque, marking this memorable visit as a lasting reminder of the Church's closeness to even the most rural and remote communities.
His Excellency also visited and prayed at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, located within the sub-parish โ a sacred space for adoration and reflection.
Following the visit, Rev. Fr. Patrick ceremoniously laid the foundation stone, officially beginning this new chapter of faith in Gonamutawa.
It was a simple yet powerful moment โ a true sign that the Church walks with every corner of the Diocese, bringing the presence of Christ wherever His people are.
