Under the leadership of Rt. Rev. Dr. Jude N. Silva, Bishop of Badulla, two newly built houses were opened in Diyatalawa. This housing project, initiated by Bishop Jude, aims to provide secure and comfortable homes for families in need.
The houses, generously donated by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI), were officially opened in a special ceremony attended by Bishop Jude, Very Rev. Fr. Priyalal Cooray, Vicar General of the Diocese, and the Parish Priest of Diyatalawa.
This initiative highlights the Bishop’s commitment to addressing the needs of the diocese and ensuring better living conditions for its faithful. The Diocese of Badulla extends sincere gratitude to the Oblates for their support in this meaningful project.
