On January 11, 2025, Rev. Sr. Mary Niyomi, a daughter of the parish of St. Jude's Shrine in Passara, made her religious profession as a nun with the Apostolic Carmel Congregation. This marks a significant milestone for the parish, as Sr. Niyomi is the fourth individual from St. Jude's to embrace a life of religious service.

To celebrate this joyous occasion, the parish community warmly welcomed Sr. Niyomi back on January 16th, 2025 and together they celebrated a special Thanksgiving Holy Eucharist. The celebration was attended by numerous priests, religious sisters, and devoted parishioners, all joining in gratitude for Sr. Niyomi's dedication to her faith.
