The Feast of St. Paul the Hermit was celebrated today, January 17, 2025, at the St. Paul the Hermit Chapel in Nayabedda Parish.
The Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Patrick Ithayakumar, the Parish Priest. This chapel holds the distinction of being one of the oldest sites where a cross was venerated.
Several other chapels dedicated to St. Paul the Hermit within the Nayabedda Parish is an evidence for a deep and enduring connection between this saint and the people lives in the hill country.
