The faithful of Mahiyanganaya Parish were blessed with a special visit from Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Jude N. Silva! The parish, led by Rev. Fr. Hemantha Peiris, warmly welcomed the Bishop with great joy and gratitude.
During his visit, Bishop Jude engaged in meaningful discussions with the parishioners, Sunday School teachers, and children, sharing wisdom and inspiration with the community. His presence strengthened the bond among the faithful and offered new insights into the spiritual journey of the parish.
The Bishop also visited the Diocesan Calvary Shrine, a sacred site for reflection and prayer. Later, he met with the Rev. Sisters, where they discussed their spiritual life and future plans for the parishโs growth and development.
