On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, the Diocese of Badulla joined the universal Church in a special prayer for the Holy Fatherโ€™s speedy recovery. Holy Eucharist and Rosary were offered in all parishes, bringing the faithful together in unity and devotion.

His Lordship, Bishop Jude N. Silva, presided over the Eucharistic celebration at the Cathedral, leading the congregation in heartfelt prayer. In his homily, he encouraged the faithful to continue praying for the Pope and for God's will to be fulfilled in the Church.

May our united prayers bring healing and strength to the Holy Father.
