On 11th August 2024, during the Annual Feast of the Diocesan Calvary Shrine at St. Anthony's Church, Ulhitiya, Mahiyanganaya, Rt. Rev. Dr. Jude N. Silva, Bishop of Badulla,
along with the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Hemantha Peiris, extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to Rt. Rev. Dr. Harold Anthony Perera, President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Sri Lanka and Bishop of Kurunegala. Bishop Harold's presence brought immense joy and spiritual enrichment to the faithful of the Diocese of Badulla, making the feast a memorable and blessed event for all who attended.
