In a heartwarming ceremony, Rev. Fr. Dilex Shantha Fernando was installed as the new Director of Central Hospital Badulla. The event was marked by a Concelebrated Holy Mass at the Hospital Chapel, presided over by Chairman Rt. Rev. Dr. Jude N. Silva.
The Chairman took the opportunity to express deep gratitude to the outgoing director, Rev. Fr. Sam Perera, acknowledging his unwavering commitment and hard work amidst the many challenges faced during the hospital's recent relocation.
The farewell function was attended by hospital staff, doctors, consultants, and foreign medical students, all of whom spoke highly of Rev. Fr. Sam Perera's contributions and the positive relationships he nurtured. As they bid farewell, they pledged their full support to the new director, Rev. Fr. Dilex Shantha Fernando, ensuring a smooth transition and continued excellence in healthcare services.
We also ask for prayers for Rev. Fr. Dilex Shantha Fernando as he takes on this new role while continuing to serve as the Parish Priest of St. Mary's Cathedral, Badulla. May he have the strength and guidance to manage his responsibilities and workload effectively.
