We are delighted to share that Rt. Rev. Dr. Jude N. Silva, Bishop of Badulla, participated in, joined, and celebrated the Holy Eucharistic Mass with the bishops of the German Bishopsโ€™ Conference during their Spring Plenary Assembly at the Basilica of Steinfeld, Germany.

This sacred celebration, led by Bishop Dr. Georg Bรคtzing, gathered 61 bishops from across Germany and esteemed guests to offer prayers and reflect on vital matters concerning the Church. The assembly addresses key topics, including the impact of Pope Francisโ€™ encyclical Laudato siโ€™, the challenges faced by Christians in the Middle East, and the journey toward a synodal Church.
