In honor of the Jubilee Year, Rt. Rev. Dr. Jude N. Silva, the Bishop of Badulla, initiated a meaningful program to support children across the diocese. The first phase of this initiative was held at St. Maryโs Cathedral, Badulla, where selected children received school bags, gift vouchers for shoes, and books to empower their education.
The distribution, organized with the support of Rev. Fr. Dilex, marked the beginning of a series of phases planned across the diocese to reach even more children in need.
This program reflects the true spirit of the Jubilee Yearโpromoting care, compassion, and hope for the future. Stay connected as the initiative continues to spread joy and opportunities throughout the diocese.
