The Welimada Parish community recently had the honor of welcoming Rt. Rev. Dr. Jude N. Silva, Bishop of Badulla, on his pastoral visit. The parishioners warmly received the Bishop, who spent time visiting various substations, zones, and estates within the parish.
During his visit, Bishop Jude celebrated several Masses and took the opportunity to connect with key members of the community, including parish council members, youth, Sunday school teachers, parents, and parishioners. His presence brought a renewed spirit and encouragement to all who attended.
The parish priest, Rev. Fr. Gabriel, accompanied Bishop Jude throughout his visit, making it a memorable and spiritually enriching experience for everyone involved. The Welimada Parish community was grateful for this blessed and fruitful visit from their Bishop.
