Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Jude N. Silva installed Rev. Fr. Gabriel SJ as the new parish priest of Welimada Parish. The installation ceremony, which took place during a solemn Sunday Mass, was attended by a large number of parishioners who warmly welcomed Fr. Gabriel to his new role.
Bishop Silva and the parishioners took this opportunity to express their heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Fr. Yohan Fernando for his excellent service to the parishioners. Fr. Yohan's dedication and commitment to the community were highlighted and appreciated by all present.
The installation of Rev. Fr. Gabriel SJ marks a new chapter for Welimada Parish, with the promise of continued spiritual growth and community development under his guidance
