The pastoral journey of His Excellency, Most Rev. Dr. Brian Udaigwe, Apostolic Nuncio, continued with a visit to St. Anthony's International College, Monaragalaโthe first college of the Diocese of Badulla.
Upon arrival, Rev. Bro. Sumal Madawala, the Principal, along with the staff and students, warmly welcomed His Excellency and Rt. Rev. Dr. Jude N. Silva, Bishop of Badulla, with an enthusiastic school band performance.
The students showcased their talents through cultural performances, including traditional dances, singing, and other artistic displays, adding vibrancy to the occasion.
His Excellency addressed the students and staff, sharing inspiring words of encouragement about faith, education, and the importance of values in shaping their future. His message uplifted the school community, leaving a lasting impact on everyone present.
A certificate awarding ceremony was held, where His Excellency and the Bishop presented certificates to the students in recognition of their achievements. In appreciation, the Principal and staff presented a special souvenir as a gift of honor to both the Apostolic Nuncio and Bishop Jude, marking this memorable occasion.
