A beautiful milestone for the Catholic community! Today, Rt. Rev. Dr. Jude N. Silva, Bishop of Badulla, together with Rev. Anuradhapura Somarathna Thero, inaugurated a new Candle Station a, inaugurated a new Candle Station at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Katharagama near Sella Katharagama Road. This event highlighted the spirit of harmony and unity between faiths.

The Bishop blessed the Candle Station and prayed with parishioners at the statue of Our Lady of Lourdes. This sacred space, part of Buttala Parish, is a serene place for prayer and reflection, especially for Catholic pilgrims visiting Katharagama Temple.
