The priests and reverend sisters of the Diocese of Badulla recently came together for a meaningful study day focused on the Popeโ€™s recent reflection, Dilexit Nos ("He loved us"). Facilitated by Rev. Fr. Sanjeewa Fernando S.J., the session centered on the profound message of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, emphasizing that in God's heart, there is always a place for each and every one of us.

Fr. Sanjeewa guided the group through a deep and insightful exploration of Christโ€™s infinite and unconditional love, encouraging all present to recognize and embody this love in their own lives and ministries. The study day was an opportunity for spiritual renewal, reflection, and a deeper connection with the message of the Sacred Heart, which calls believers to embrace God's boundless love and share it with others.

A day of prayer, study, and reflection, the event was a moving reminder of the love that Christ has for all humanityโ€”inviting us to live in that love each day.
