✨𝔄 𝔅𝔩𝔢𝔰𝔰𝔢𝔡 ℭ𝔢𝔩𝔢𝔟𝔯𝔞𝔱𝔦𝔬𝔫 𝔦𝔫 𝔇𝔦𝔶𝔞𝔱𝔞𝔩𝔞𝔴𝔞: 𝔉𝔢𝔞𝔰𝔱 𝔬𝔣 ℭ𝔥𝔯𝔦𝔰𝔱 𝔱𝔥𝔢 𝔎𝔦𝔫𝔤

The celebrations began with a beautiful Vespers Service, led by Rev. Fr. Rajeeven, and attended by many of the priests and sisters from the Diocese, creating a truly spiritual and united atmosphere. The Feast Mass that followed was presided over by Rt. Rev. Dr. Jude N. Silva, Bishop of Badulla, who also led a joyous procession through the town, blessing Diyatalawa with the statue of Christ the King.

Rev. Fr. Priyalal Cooray, the Parish Priest, worked tirelessly alongside Bishop Silva to organize this memorable occasion. Several other priests also joined throughout the week to lead the Novena Masses, adding to the deep sense of faith and community.

The highlight of the evening was the fellowship dinner, where parishioners, along with the priests, sisters, and various societies, gathered in unity to share a meal and celebrate together. It was a colorful and joyful night, reflecting the spirit of togetherness that defines this parish.

It was heartwarming to see how the entire Diocese came together to mark this important feast, showing not only a deep devotion to Christ the King but also a strong bond of community and friendship.
