Rev Fr Sam Perera celebrated his 25th anniversary of Holy Priesthood on 31/7/2022 and Thanks giving Mass was offered on 1/8/2022 at Christ King Church, Diyatalawa.
Rev Fr Titus Fonseka was called by God to eternal bliss on 1/8/2022. Concelebrated Holy Mass for his repose soul was offered on 3/8/2022 at St Mary's Cathedral, Badulla. We thank God for 70 years of life and 40 years service in the diocese of Badulla.

Candidates for Sacrament of Confirmation of Welimada and Bibila parishes participated for special training programme at SUBODHI, Integral Education Centre, Piliyandala from 10th August to 13th August 2022. Programme was conducted in both Sinhala and Tamil and there were 85 participants.
